Learning Experience

A vision below the surface - utforsk fotavtrykket til norsk havbruksnæring. 

Opplevinga startar i Rosendal der vi går om bord på eit av dei to heilelektriske fartøya Malm og Melder. Deretter set vi kursen mot Salmon Eye som ligg på nordsida av Snilstveitøy. 

Der går ein gjennom ei oppleving med fokus på fotavtrykket til Norsk havbruksnæring og matproduksjon i sjø. 

Etter besøket på Salmon Eye, går vi til produksjonslokaliteten Hågardsneset før vi returnerer til Rosendal. 

Opplevinga er på norsk om ikkje anna er merka.

VIKTIG: Salmon Eye er ein frittflytende installasjon som i visse høver kan bevege på seg når ein er ombord. I tillegg kan visninga verte avlyst på kort varsel grunna uforsvarlege vêrforhold. I opplevinga er det både høge lydar og sterkt lys.

Starting in Rosendal, we will board one of our vessels, Malm or Melder and head for Salmon Eye located north of the island Snilstveitøy.

There we will embark on a learning experience with focus on the footprint of the norwegian aquaculture industry and food production in the sea. 

After we will visit our neighbouring production site Hågardsneset.

If not explicitly marked, the experience is in Norwegian.

For the winter of 2023 there will be slot times on the saturdays, but Salmon Eye will also be accessible on request on other days of the week. For larger groups and other days/times please reach out to post (a) salmoneye.no

Please note: Salmon Eye is a free floating installation that can heel due to waves and wind. The tour might be cancelled on short notice due to the weather conditions. The experience includes both loud sounds and strong lights.
